Discovering Louisiana

In the next few weeks we are going to take you step by step through each area of Louisiana.  We are going to give you a roadmap to discover all the neat things Louisiana and its unique culture have to offer.

 

Today we are going to start out in Cajun Country. As many 0f you know, thats where you can find Primeaux RV. Cajun Country includes areas like Lake Charles, Lake Arthur, Lafayette, Abbeville, Opelousas, New Iberia, and Houma.

If its Mardi Gras season, don’t forget to stop and get a King Cake! (Ask a local and they will be able to point you in the right direction)

If you are looking for a great place to fish and be near a great lake this is it! You can partake in a number of outdoor activities at Myers Landing such as:

Boating, Swimming, Waterskiing, Tubing, Camping, Biking, Fishing, Mini golf, and much more!

Don’t miss out on visiting a Plantation! Shadows on the Tech is located in New Iberia about 30 minutes from the campground.

A white-columned brick building constructed between 1831 and 1834, The Shadows is both a survivor and a reminder of another time.

Lake View Park and Beach – 1717 Veteran Memorial Highway Eunice, LA 70535

Lakeview Park is located 3 miles North of Eunice, Louisiana on Hwy 13. The campground features a large selection of traditional as well as high tech amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.

There are 95 full hook-up (water, sewer and electric), big rig friendly RV sites located on the 42 acre park. The RV sites are predominately pull thrus with some back in sites.  Enjoy large green spaces between each site that average 20 feet apart.  Mature trees canopy over a large portion of the park that provides ample shade.  The sites also include FREE local channels and complimentary WiFi.

The beach is a 1 acre large swimming area with fresh well water pumped into it daily. The water is cold and refreshing. Located on the sandy beach is also a volleyball net for all to enjoy.
